It's almost over!

Who would think that one of the best school years of my life is about to end already?
During the first few weeks of my junior year, I was sort of annoyed because I felt so much pressure.

 "I am missing sophomore year!"
- This is what I used to tell my friends.

For the first few weeks, I didn't see enough reason to enjoy the class. When I thought of myself as a third year student, things that went in my mind were: hard, stress, chemistry, pressure, tons of homework, etc etc etc.

But as time passed by, I realized that I should have fun since it's our second to the last year in AC. It's our second to the last year in high school. So, I started to look on the bright sides. So many things happened and I started to have fun. Now, I see third year as one of the most stressing years BUT  also one of the most enjoyable years of my life. :)

Now that junior year is about to end, I know that I'll miss it. I know that by senior year, I will be saying this line
"I miss third year! I had so much fun and there are just so many memories that I know I would not forget!"

GOOD BYE JUNIOR YEAR!
I'll miss you. >:D<

& for everyone and everything who became part of this year...
Thank you so much
for making this school year one of the best school years :)

Juniors' Night: Midsummer's Night Dream

BEFORE THE PROM

7:15 pm, January 31, 2009.
We left our condo and waited for my promdate and his brother (who's also going to AC prom).

When we arrived to school..
His dad and my dad introduced us to each other. Yeah, it was my first time to meet him even though we're family friends.
I was so surprised cause the night before the prom, my dad told me that he might not be able to go because he has a basketball game, and that his cousin will be the one to attend. But, few hours before prom, my dad said that he can come. He'll go right after his game.

DURING THE PROM

After the registration, I introduced him to the teachers and looked for our seats.
We were so quiet so I asked him stuff like school and basketball. I also told him stories about my dad and his dad. I asked him to share anything about him but he was just smiling. So I asked him why he is quiet, and he just told me that he's just "a silent type of person" and that he's really tired. When his brother, Kevin, went near us, he told me, "Darlene, hindi talaga yan tahimik. Galing nga niyan sumayaw eh!"
When it was the time to dance, he asked me, and since everyone's in the dance floor, I agreed. When we got tired, we went back to our seats. Then later on, we went to the room where we had our pictures taken. We were sweating cause it was really hot. We can't help but laughed at ourselves. :))

AFTER THE PROM

His dad cannot pick them up, so we dropped them (my promdate, his brother and his brother's friend) off. When we got to their place, his mom asked us to go inside first. So, we were all there - his mom and my parents were exchanging stories, his brother started telling their mom about the prom while my promdate was silent but smiling.

I really had a great night with him, with my friends, and with everyone. It was really a night to remember and to be treasured.

With Arc, my promdate!
